The United States celebrated the 150 year anniversary of the 13th Amendment in 2015. Contrary to what most people believe, the 13th Amendment did not end all forms of slavery. This presentation reviews the history of slavery, the 13th amendment, 20th-century legal apartheid and modern involuntary servitude of African Descendants. The Webinar discusses whether this neo-apartheid is permissible under the 13th amendment.
